Final Fantasy XIV: All Saints’ Wake Seasonal Event Now Available

Final Fantasy XIV: All Saints' Wake

Square Enix has announced the official return of Final Fantasy XIV’s yearly Halloween event, All Saints’ Wake. Not unlike its past iterations throughout the years, the seasonal event – here for a limited time – will allow the denizens of Eorzea to quest their way into a Halloween-themed costume, alongside a spooky collection of collectibles. The All Saints’ Wake event begins today, and runs through November 1. Based on the information provided by Square Enix, it appears that the theme this year is that of the Wolfman, as the completion reward for the seasonal event’s quest line is a full set of Werewolf attire, with a few changes made depending on the gender the character is when completing the quest.

As seen above, players will also be able to obtain some Halloween-themed furnishings for their homes. The items depicted above are: Ghost Candlestand, Pumpkin Tower, Pumpkin Pie Set, Pumpkin Pudding Set, and an All Saints’ Wake Advertisement. All the furnishings mentioned above can be freely placed within a player’s residence, be it Free Company or personal. The overall premise of the All Saints’ Wake quest line can be found below, courtesy of Square Enix:

The men and women and more nebulous entities of the Continental Circus are about their business once more, and various parties are duly concerned. However, an Adventurers’ Guild investigator is worried not only for the well-being of the local populace, but that of a goodly traveler with certain uncommon traits…”

All Saints’ Wake isn’t the only exciting thing going on in Final Fantasy XIV. Just last week a large update for the game dropped, update 4.1. Titled “The Legend Returns,” the update brings with it a slew of main mission quests, sidequests, a new 24-person raid, and the introduction of the Shirogane housing district. Final Fantasy XIV is now available for PC and PlayStation 4.
