Far Cry 5 Death Loops Are Creating Problems For Players (VIDEO)

Far Cry 5 Death Loops

Ubisoft’s latest entry into the Far Cry franchise has been out for nearly a week at this point, and it seems that players are pretty delighted with it. While getting into all sorts of shenanigans in Hope County, however, some are encountering a problem that makes playing the game rather difficult – Far Cry 5 death loops.

Players are coming across these loops of death when they trigger a checkpoint that saves just seconds before they face death. Upon resuming their playthrough, they die all over again…and again….and again. As one might imagine, this can become very annoying in no time. You can check out one of the Far Cry 5 death loops in the video below:

Luckily, someone seems to have found a fix. One Redditor took to the forums to tell of their discovery. They state that they had tried to restart the checkpoint and even quit the mission, but nothing was getting them out of infuriating death loop. When they had a friend join the game, however, it broke the vicious cycle and let them resume their adventure.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft hasn’t had much to offer in terms of a solution. Their advice has been to start from a fresh save, but that might not be the greatest thing for all players encountering Far Cry 5 death loops. Until they actually implement a solution, gamers will just have to try and avoid it the best they can. Save manually and save often would be anyone’s best bet until the situation is under control.

Far Cry 5 is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
