Custom Fallout 76 Power Armor Helmets Being Auctioned Off For Charity

Fallout 76 Power

Excitement and anticipation for Fallout 76 is peaking now in its last few weeks before its release. The Fallout 76 beta already began earlier this week, giving these passionate fans their first experience in the new online play-focused version of the Fallout world. Bethesda has been known to find various ways of uniting non-gaming related organizations to promote their games, and Fallout 76 is no exception. We’ve seen Bethesda work with the state of West Virginia to support real life tourism to the state and now, Bethesda is partnering with artists to auction off custom-designed Fallout 76 Power Armor helmets for charity.

Online auction site Paddle8 is hosting the auctions for these beautiful custom Fallout 76 Power Armor helmets. Over 80 custom helmets are currently up for grabs to the highest bidders with starting bids at $76, naturally. Each helmet has been uniquely designed by a world-renowned artist to reflect their creative style. Bethesda is referring to this initiative as “Helmets for Habitat,” as it refers to the charity organization Habitat for Humanity, which will receive the proceeds from each auction sale. The helmets will all also be on public display at the Fifth Avenue Microsoft store in New York City from October 25th until November 14th.

Many of these custom helmets are quite colorful and vibrant, such as one colored bright-blue and yellow like Vault Boy’s iconic suit. Other standouts currently receiving the highest bids include a Nuka-Cola themed helmet complete with cans of the beverage attached to the side, and another helmet with half of the face blown away which reveals a skull in its place. There really seems to be a helmet for every style in this auction, and hopefully their sales lead to many houses being built.
