Fall Guys Adding Golden Costumes With Crown Ranks In Season 3
The golden glizzy is a sign of things to come in Season 3 of the popular jelly bean game. The Fall Guys devs are about to kick off the next season of the title just hours from now, but before they do, they’ve revealed a look at a new rewards system for the most dedicated players.
Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Mediatonic’s Joe Walsh revealed Crown Ranks, a new rewards system that will track players’ progression. The new system seems pretty straight forward: Win crowns, climb the ranks, and earn yourself some sweet rewards. What could possibly be the rewards, you might ask? Well, as it turns out, there will be a few things available, including exclusive colors and patterns as well as golden variations of existing costumes.
“The more Crowns you grab, the higher your Crown Rank rises,” Walsh said. “And with it, players will unlock a world of curious and highly desirable rewards, including exclusive Colours and Patterns to leave other players in no doubt of your commitment to the bean cause. But that’s not all…
“As an extra special treat for avid Crown-getters, climbing the Crown Ranks will also reveal…Golden Costumes! In the most prestigious addition yet to our overflowing wardrobe of Fall Guys accoutrements, players who excel can adorn gilded versions of iconic costumes.”
But wait, there’s more! In a follow-up tweet to the one announcing the new Crown Ranks system, the Fall Guys account let players know a few more details. The new rewards will not change with each season and nobody has the top rank as of yet. In addition to this, Crown Ranks will also include past crowns.
