Mods – they’re the culmination of fans taking their creativity to the next level. From fighting games such as Super Smash Bros. An Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind mod was recently updated to completely overhaul the game with new content, textures, bug fixes, and so much more. Titled Morrowind Rebirth 5.0, trancemaster_1988 and team just released the “mother of all updates.”

Several hundred hours of intense, hard work was placed in the latest update of Morrowind Rebirth. Those looking forward to diving right back into The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind will see brand new races, the ability to purchase homes, new gear, and so on. Check out a few screenshots below:

Since 2011, trancemaster_1988 put their blood, sweat, and tears into redoing Morrowind with modern visual enhancements. For the complete rundown on the patch notes, check out their moddb page here.

Since Morrowind’s launch in 2002, it has certainly been, by far, one of the most memorable entries within the Elder Scrolls franchise. Since then, dozens of sequels have been released. In recent years, Bethesda developed an Elder Scrolls Online expansion dubbed “Morrowind.” As of right now, however, the studio is currently developing the next generation – The Elder Scrolls 6.

What do you think about the Morrowind Rebirth mod?
