Next DLC Character for Killer Instinct Revealed – Soaring into Combat Next Month (VIDEO)
With another certain fighting game taking up the spotlight over the past couple months, word has dropped about an upcoming DLC character for Killer Instinct. The official YouTube channel for the game has recently released a teaser for Eagle, who will be the 29th playable character added to the title’s roster. Being the older brother of Thunder in the comics, he was introduced in the first game back in 1994 as the younger brother. And while fans have known about Eagle from the games and comics, this will be the first time players will actually be able to fight as him. Check out the teaser below:
While the video may be short, it certainly provides the hype fans desire for a character such as Eagle. We get a good look at the futuristic bow he is equipped with, along with his robotic friend. However, having been around since the beginning, it’ll be nice for players to get their hands on him and maybe see how he stacks up against Thunder. There’s no word on exactly when Eagle will become part of the roster in Season Three of the game, but we do know that it will be in June, and it will be sometime after E3. At least, that’s what community manager Rukari Austin confirmed on Twitter:
