It’s been an eventful week in gaming! With a weekend full of reveals thanks to the Guerrilla Collective showcase and PC Gaming Show, communities and fans across across multitudes of studios, publishers, and series were treated to exciting news and that includes Larian Studios. In addition to unveiling an early access release window, the game studio announced a brand new DLC for Divinity Original Sin 2 – The Relics of Rivellon. Check out the reveal trailer below:

Divinity Original Sin 2: The Relics of Rivellon is a free update for all platforms including PC, Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. As far as the title goes, The Relics of Rivellon refer to the four hidden relics of powerful, ancient armor that players can discover.

According to Larian Studios, this DLC is by far their largest “gift bag of free content” so far. Introducing new quests, enemies, and loot, players will explore ruins and discover powerful secrets of ancient Rivellon, forgotten gods, and corrupted kings. What lies beneath the danger is fortune and power, but “those who dare to face the bearer of such powers may all fall.”

In other words, it’s a huge content update for any of whom own a copy of Divinity Original Sin 2. The best part? It’s completely free. In other Larian Studios news, the team have opened up their very own shop to sell Divinity Original Sin 2 merchandise including game copies, version of their graphic novel, and the successfully crowdfunded board game.
