Deus Ex: Mankind Divided “A Criminal Past” DLC Available Now with Launch Trailer (VIDEO)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s second story DLC “A Criminal Past” is now available for purchase. Last month, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix announced this addition with news of a virtual reality experience completely free to download. It is compatible with the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Powered by the Dawn Engine, players will be able to examine Dubai and Golem city with unbelievable realism and a “stunning level of detail”. For those who decided to pre-order the story, they received bonus goodies for free too! It came with 3 different outfits, re-skinned pistol and combat rifle, an extra in-game mission, weapon upgrades and more. Take a look at the launch trailer below:
The whole premise of the DLC is to give players an inside look on Adam Jensen’s very first mission as an undercover agent for TF29 – a prequel to Mankind Divided. It offers a closer look into Deus Ex lore with characters old and new!
In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – A Criminal Past, Jensen is transferred deep into a hostile, high-security prison for augmented felons. His mission: track down and retrieve sensitive information from a fellow undercover agent who has gone dark. Success will help the fight against terror around the world, but Jensen will need to confront a darker side to his role before the day is done.”
A Criminal Past is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox for $11.99 unless you have acquired the season pass! So, will you be purchasing it? Do you hope it will fare better than System Rift?
