Bungie Takes Heroic Stance on Destiny Update
Without doubt, it is always frustrating to hear that a game is being held back after finding out the release date. So it could sound a little disappointing to hear that Destiny will be delaying their Wrath of the Machine “Heroic Mode” next week.
Delay is a scary word, but in this case, it’s not as bad as it seems. Though revealed that the new challenge, with an increase in Light Level of up to 400, would be released on October 18th, 2016; Bungie has decided that a delay to even the playing field is in order.
The delay is expected to only be a few hours, however, it will still be released on the same day. This is all due to the Updated 2.4.1 going live, and Bungie wants to ensure that all of the Fireteams have a chance to get the update before diving into the latest raid!
Bungie announced that the update will begin at 10am PST on Tuesday, and Heroic Mode will officially launch the same day at 2pm PST. Plenty of time for avid fans to get their arses in gear and get updated for the next level of raiding!
The details of Wrath of the Machine Heroic Mode is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is for certain. Expect new levels, new rewards, and a level playing field!
