If there’s anything a collector knows, it’s that owning a replica of one’s favorite villain is important to any collection. For DC fans, that villain may just be the biggest bad guy that the DC Universe could ever dream up. Recently, Prime 1 Studio has unveiled their latest DC Villain to their collectible line up, and this time that villain is none other than Darkseid. This collectible, a terrifying effigy of this major badass, is based on Jim Lee’s design for the character that debuted in the pages of the New 52’s Justice League comics. This is certainly a beautifully crafted collectible that many fans are definitely going to enjoy, though with the price point, this may be a hefty investment for some collectors. On Prime 1 Studio’s website, it states that the figure runs about 131,000 yen ($1,250) and stands 83 cm (32in) tall. Check out the official description of the statue here:

As one of the most powerful beings in the universe, Darkseid is a foe no man would want to face. This beautiful statue certainly captures the danger of the ruler of Apokolips, a character that has terrorized many in both comics and animated series, including Super Friends, Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and Teen Titans Go!. Darkseid has also caused great destruction in Injustice 2, so for those who haven’t had a chance to check out the awesome might of this villain, the game is a great way to jump in on the action!
