Cyberpunk 2077 Rating Details Gore, Violence, Customizable Genitalia, And More

Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Reveal Hint

It has been fairly clear from the start that CD Projekt RED is going all in on their upcoming futuristic RPG. Fans have been able to gather from the gameplay revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to offer up an intriguing experience. That said, the ESRB has released their rating of the title, and it features quite a few things.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board recently disclosed the Mature 17+ rating for Cyberpunk 2077, which isn’t exactly surprising to those who have been keeping up with the development of the title. Their rating specifically points out “Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol.”

Digging a bit deeper into the rating summary of Cyberpunk 2077, far more is detailed about what players can expect during their playthrough. A billboard ad depicts someone snorting speed, there is blood and violence galore, genitals can be customized with “various sizes and combinations,” and players can get drunk and distort the screen. There are also mutilated corpses, a mission that features nails being driven through someone’s hands and feet, fictional drugs, and so much more.

Needless to say, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to provide players with plenty of things to do, and a plethora of ways in which to do them. If you are interested in reading the full rating summary from the ESRB, that can be found right here.
