Code Vein Release Date Announcement Coming Next Week
Code Vein is the upcoming JRPG from Bandai Namco that will allow players to become a member of the “hidden society of Revenants called Vein.” With everything we’ve seen so far from the developer, the game is shaping up to be one bloody adventure for fans. The only thing that has been missing is the title’s release date, but thanks to a recent tweet, we now know that announcement is just around the corner.
In a tweet from the game’s official Twitter account, we have learned that the Code Vein release date is set to be reveal next Tuesday. Until now, we’ve only seen the generic “Coming Soon” or “Coming 2018” placeholders, but that’ll change soon enough. Here’s the tweet, which was shared with a couple more screenshots of the title:

According to the tweet, Bandai Namco will be announcing the Code Vein release date on June 5, 2018 at 11am Japan Time. Unfortunately, it is unknown as to whether or not the reveal will only be for the Japan release. Bandai Namco has done a decent job with keeping release date reveals relatively close to one another for different parts of the world, if not on the same day, so here’s to hoping we get all of the goods next Tuesday.
For those of you still unfamiliar with the upcoming JRPG, here’s more from the game’s website:
“In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.”
Code Vein is set to arrive at some point in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
