‘Brutal’ Mod Combines DOOM And Minecraft Into A Violent Shooter (VIDEO)
DOOM’s modding community is legendary for its longevity and creativity. Every year there seems to be a new DOOM Mod that completely changes the game into something original and astounding. We’ve seen amazing creations like Brutal DOOM, Valiant’s amazing Map Pack, and the Super Mario 64-like Golden Souls. But this most recent wad may be one of the most impressive looking mod we’ve seen in quite some time.
Brutal Minecraft is a total conversion mod for DOOM that brings the familiar, friendly look of the former game into the dark bloody world of the latter. There’s a whole lot of violent imagery in the trailer below, so prepare yourself!
As the trailer shows, Brutal Minecraft could potentially be one hell of a DOOM mod. The download includes 9 full-built maps and 25 different weapons from pistols to rifles. With shotguns, submachine guns, snipers, flamethrowers, RPGs, miniguns, and even a bow and arrow; there’s a weapon of choice for any player! You’ll be able to dual-wield, aim down sights, and wield melee weapons as well as you hack through mobs of zombie enemies. Some enemies will also have guns, but for the most part, they seem to be unarmed. You can download Brutal Minecraft right here, provided you have a copy of DOOM II installed.
