Another week, another Injustice 2 character spotlight video to get players everywhere hyped for the upcoming game. This time, Brainiac takes center stage in the final video in the Injustice 2 Shattered Alliance series. With the latest reveal, fans waiting for the next step in the Injustice franchise get a closer look at the story and Brainiac’s hunt for Superman. Check out the video below to see him in action before the release of Injustice 2:
The latest trailer gave me some series Mass Effect/Reaper vibes and it really highlights the ferociousness that is synonymous with the character Brainiac. Pure destruction, an army of machines – “Earth’s time is up” seems like a pretty damnable set up for the conflict regarding Superman. After he releases that he failed in taking down the Man of Steel, Brainiac uses everything in his arsenal to make sure he doesn’t make the same mistake twice and the rest of the DC team takes notice of the formidable threat.
Injustice 2 launches on May 16 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The next character reveal is slated for April 28th, so make sure to stay tuned with us as we bring you that DC-goodness first. Until then, you can check out some of the other Shattered Alliances videos below:
