The Injustice 2 gameplay trailers keep on coming and getting us excited for the next installment of the kick-ass DC fighting game. Part 1 and 2 of the Shattered alliance trailers highlighted Batman and Superman, but now it’s Supergirl’s turn.

NetherRealm Studios made sure to include her backstory by showing Kara (Supergirl) as she flees her home planet of Krypton, glancing at her baby cousin, who will eventually become Superman, as their pods race side by side. As you would expect it seems that she is on Superman’s team, but as the Injustice 2 trailer progresses we see that things become tense between them and we even hear him say the words, “You’ll either make the right choice, or I’ll make it for you”, which sounds a lot like a threat. The best part of this Injustice 2 trailer is that we get to experience Black Adam for the first time. In the short amount of time that he is in the trailer, we get to check out his super which shows Black Adam teleport Supergirl to Egypt where she is thrown against a pyramid before he pushes her through the structure, out of the top, and calls down a bolt of lightning that destroys the pyramid completely. They have been releasing characters little by little over time, but with the game’s release in less than 2 months – we are getting anxious to see who the last 13 will be. In the past 2 weeks, NetherRealm has given fans first looks at Green Lantern, Cheetah, Firestorm, and Green Arrow.
