Bethesda Launches “The Good Within” Charity Event Alongside The Evil Within 2’s Release
With the release of The Evil Within 2 today on the unholiest of days, Friday the 13th, Bethesda has announced a new charity campaign for the American Red Cross called The Good Within and it ties into the terrifying sequel. In other words, while players dive into the horrors lurking in the newest game, they can give their heart something bright and shiny to make it all better… the satisfaction from giving to charity!
The Good Within fundraising campaign is set up through CrowdRise and will run through the end of October. Bethesda is spreading the word and asking some well liked streamers and content creators to help them spread awareness of the campaign when playing The Evil Within 2 for fans. What’s more spooky than donating to a good cause, knowing it will help the most deadly creature of all to stay alive… HUMANS!
The Good Within CrowdRise page is accepting donations with a goal of raising $15,000 and Bethesda plans to match every donation up to $15,000 as well! Anyone who donates also get to choose between giving their full donation to the American Red Cross OR split the donation between a handful of other causes; that includes hurricane relief. Any charitable people wanting to donate can click the link right here to reach The Good Within CrowdRise page. The Evil Within 2 released today for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, so go get your copy now!
