Assassin’s Creed Origins Story DLC Dates, And Details, Have Been Revealed

creed origins story

We’ve gotten a few amazing events featuring Bayek and the rest of the characters in Assassin’s Creed Origins, we’ve even gotten to take on a few gods – but now it’s time to see what’s next in his story and thankfully, we now know when we have new content to look forward to!

First up is The Hidden Ones DLC that will pit Bayek against the Romans, which will be launching January 23rd. The Hidden Ones will be free for season pass holders and will take players into a new area called Sinai. The events will take place 4 years after the ending of the main questline and will not only bring with it a new narrative, but new achievements and a new level cap as well!

“This expansion will increase the level cap to 45, allowing players to continue to upgrade and customise their character,” a press release from Ubisoft said. “Players will have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts and multiple new weapons, as well as two new levels for all crafted gear.”

The second DLC will be called The Curse of the Pharaohs, which will be taking place on March 6th. Unlike The Hidden Ones, this expansion is a totally different story altogether apart from the base game. March brings with it a new journey that will thrust players into Egyptian mythology and battle against mighty pharaohs and beasts alike! Another level cap will also be released alongside this pack, raising it from the 45 to 55.

A few other treats AC fans have to look forward to is:

  • Discovery Tour
    • A peaceful, educational experience free of enemies
  • New outfits
  • New items
  • New characters

“This new educational mode of the game lets everyone, from players to history-enthusiasts and non-gamers, choose between free roaming the beautiful world of Ancient Egypt to learn more about its history and daily life, or embarking on guided tours curated by historians and Egyptologists. People can discover and explore a world free of conflict, time pressure or gameplay constraints, where storyline and quests are not active and the world of Ancient Egypt evolves into a combat-free living museum.”
