$800 Assassin’s Creed Origins Legendary Edition Available for Pre-order
One of Ubisoft’s most successful franchises wowed fans all over the globe with the world premiere of Assassin’s Creed Origins at this year’s E3. As details are emerging from the event, some news about several versions of the game have surfaced, including an Origins Legendary Edition that is sure to spark spousal arguments with its $800 price tag.
There are a total of seven different versions available for pre-order for the upcoming game. One of which is the Assasin’s Creed Origins Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition. This version comes jam-packed full of goodies for the ultimate fans. Retailing at $799.99, the Legendary Edition contains the following:
- A 28.7-inch figurine of Bayek and his eagle Senu cast in resin
- A hand-drawn world map of Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Egypt
- Replica of Bayek’s eagle skull amulet cast in resin
- Four 15-inch by 11-inch lithographs signed by Ubisoft Montreal studio artists
- Official game soundtrack
- Two Steelbook cases
- Artbook and art cards
- Numbered certificate of authenticity
- A copy of Assassin’s Creed Origins, season pass and other digital goods
The amount of Legendary Editions is limited to a total of 999 copies, and only 200 of those will be available for purchase in North America. Furthermore, this particular version is only available for purchase from the Ubisoft Store. If pre-ordered soon, the statues, lithographs, and steel book will be sent in July, ahead of the game’s release.
Other versions of Assassin’s Creed Origins include Standard, Deluxe, Gold, Dawn, and Gods Editions. The Deluxe Edition will give players a weapon pack, while Gold earns players the season pass. The Gods Edition will include the Deluxe Edition, as well as a statue (different than the one featured in the Legendary Edition), artbook, and map – all in an Egyptian themed collector’s box. The Dawn Edition will include the same statue as in the Dawn of the Creed Edition, a map, and the Gold Edition of the title.
Assassin’s Creed Origins arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27. What are your thoughts on the Origins Legendary Edition?
