Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Story Summary And Logo Leak Ahead Of E3
The weekend before E3 2018 is finally here, and very soon the big press conferences will be bringing fans a bevy of new information about upcoming games. However, it seems like the big developers have made partial announcements of their biggest titles to avoid having their existence leaked. Bethesda announced Fallout 76 last week and Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey would be the next entry in the franchise.
Ubisoft will reveal more about the game at their upcoming E3 press conference, but for now, the PlayStation store has already revealed the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story summary. Reddit and Restera users have posted images of the same Assassin’s Creed story summary and logo that were revealed in a “New Events” notification on the PlayStation Store.
The summary confirms the Ancient Greek theme and era setting for the game, as well as the influence of Spartan culture as seen in media like 300. The story description leaked reads:
Take control of your destiny and write your own epic odyssey as you journey to become a legendary Spartan hero. Live incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Rejected by your family, you must embark on an adventure from outcast mercenary to legendary Spartan hero to uncover the truth about your past.”
The story certainly sounds like it will find an intriguing way to bring the Assassins lore to the world of Spartan Warriors. We will know more about the game when Ubisoft makes their E3 2018 presentation on Monday, June 11 at 1PM PT. What do you guys think about the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story summary leak?
