Could Another Nintendo Direct Be Right Around The Corner?

Another Nintendo Direct

The most recent Direct Mini to come out of Nintendo was pure Switch bliss. Showing off a great deal of titles and updates coming to the portable console in 2018, the presentation was as the name suggests, mini. That being said, some evidence has been brought to light recently, and it points to another Nintendo Direct arriving very shortly.

A Reddit user by the name of Natzore has recently posted an informative table that shows the dates of Direct Minis and the larger Directs that followed them. What can be seen is that, dating back to July 18, 2012, no more than 20 days have passed between the two presentations. With Big N surprising everyone with the most recent Direct Mini, the clock started ticking on January 11. If the trend is to continue in 2018, that means another Nintendo Direct will be arriving before the end of the month. Check out the table below:

After seeing the evidence that has been sitting in front of our collective faces for so long, it’s hard to deny that another Nintendo Direct could very well be popping up any day now. Besides, the Mini that arrived earlier this week, while still offering a decent look at what’s to come, didn’t provide some of the bigger reveals that many fans had been expecting. Of course, it’s all been speculation, but gamers want more.

That being said, Nintendo is rather mindful of the gold they have struck with the Switch, which means they will continue to do everything in their power to bring more titles and third-party support to the system. If that’s the case, when the next Direct arrives, be it tomorrow, two weeks from now, or even months away, it is surely going to be a big one.
