Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Announce Upcoming Closed Beta

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

The team at TaleWorlds Entertainment has done a great job of keeping fans up to date on the development of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. In their latest developer update, the developers behind the game discussed different multiplayer modes that will be seen in the upcoming title. They also announced these modes would be part of an upcoming closed beta that will be coming to the RPG adventure, but no release date has been announced for it.

In a post discussing a new multiplayer mode that will be playable, the dev team discussed the upcoming closed beta, stating “We realise that this overview of Skirmish has probably raised a lot of questions about multiplayer in general, especially for Warband veterans. However, fear not! We will discuss much more about multiplayer in future blogs, including Bannerlord’s new class system, matchmaking, additional game modes, and, of course, details about the upcoming closed beta!”

For those who are not familiar with what exactly Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is, below is a synopsis of the upcoming title from the game’s Steam page:

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the eagerly awaited sequel to the acclaimed medieval combat simulator and role-playing game Mount & Blade: Warband. Set 200 years before, it expands both the detailed fighting system and the world of Calradia. Bombard mountain fastnesses with siege engines, establish secret criminal empires in the back alleys of cities, or charge into the thick of chaotic battles in your quest for power.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has not been given a release date yet, but is set to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
