New Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailer Shows Off Cross-Dressing Cloud, Red XIII, And More (VIDEO)

After what feels like decades of waiting, we finally have our first look at Cloud Strife in his iconic cross-dressing garb in glorious HD. The folks over at Square Enix released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake that shows off loads of new content coming soon to the PlayStation 4.

Square Enix recently took to its various social media channels to reveal a massive new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake. As mentioned above, the trailer gives us our first good look at Cloud Strife’s transformation into a lovely lady as he attempts to gain access to Don Corneo’s mansion. The trailer also acts as a vehicle for Hollow, the newly revealed theme song by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu created for the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Check out the trailer below:

As seen in the trailer, Cloud isn’t the only one that takes the spotlight. In addition to more shots of our ‘love to hate’ bad boy Sephiroth, we’re also treated to first looks at both Red XIII and Hojo, as well as more footage of the upper echelon of Shinra. We also get a good look at what appears to be the Leviathan summon, revealed during some footage of Cloud, Tifa, and Barrett as they battle their way through the outskirts of Midgar. It’s a lot to take in, though hopefully it’ll serve to soften the blow of the game being delayed by 4-5 weeks.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is slated to release on April 10, 2020, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
