Breath Of The Wild Mod Lets You Play As Cloud Strife (VIDEO)
A clever modder has taken two of the most popular franchises and mashed them together to create something amazing. Until now, Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife has had to rely on Super Smash Bros. titles to visit some of the locations in The Legend of Zelda series. Now, thanks to a modder by the name of Yam Gamming, gamers can play as the legendary SOLDIER in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. Check out the video for the Cloud Mod below:
Seen above, the Cloud Mod lets users play as Cloud Strife in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. The remix of the iconic FFVII music paired with Cloud running around exploring and stabbing angry things makes for an amazing combination, and the model for Cloud looks impressive, even if he has elf ears. The modder decided to go with Cloud’s outfit from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, complete with his Fusion Sword and motorcycle. While some may consider that to be a poor choice given the potential hilarity of having a blocky PS1 Cloud running around beating mobs up, the Advent Children outfit admittedly looks awesome in the game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild is now available for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
