Earlier this month developer Big Deez Productions released a brand spankin’ new trailer for the sequel to Shaq Fu, titled Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. The game itself has been in development for over three years now after its successful campaign over on Indiegogo, though the recently released trailer unfortunately did not provide a release window for the game. Thankfully, fans looking forward to the Shaq Fu sequel won’t have to wait much longer; it has been announced that Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in Spring 2018! Here’s the latest trailer for a nice refresher:

As seen above, Big Deez Productions doesn’t exactly hold back while knocking on how absolutely terrible the original Shaq Fu was. Thankfully the team-up between the developer and Shaquille O’Neal appears to be a match made in heaven, as the upcoming Shaq Fu sequel looks like tons of fun while still making good use of campy fun. Here’s the description of the game from its description on youTube:

Shaq Fu is back and better than ever! Settle the score of ’94 in a fast-paced, dynamic beat-’em-up game, combining modern and classic approaches to the genre. The player takes control of Shaquille O’Neal, voiced by none other than Shaq Fu himself, and takes on the hordes of Hell and Hollywood. Fight dozens of different enemies, learn new moves and travel to unique locations around the world. As you proceed through new levels, face powerful bosses and defeat them!”

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn releases for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018. Those still looking to purchase the game – or get in on some sweet perks involving the legendary basketball player himself – can still do so on the game’s Indiegogo page. The lunch date with Shaq is still available, just saying!
