Epic Mobile PUBG Trailer Highlights Ship Battles And Helicopter Combat (VIDEO)

Mobile PUBG Trailer

It was recently announced that PUBG Corp and Tencent Games would be teaming up to bring popular shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to China in mobile form. With the game already having spent some time on PC, and its console launch just around the corner, many wonder how the title will hold up on smaller devices. Only time will tell how well it performs, but if the recent mobile PUBG trailer is any indication, it’s going to do just fine on the platform.

While the new video is cinematic in nature and should not be confused with actual gameplay, it shows off a PUBG that current players aren’t exactly used to. Sure, the looting, running, driving, and shooting are all present, but, wait… is that a boat? The PC game has the little boats that players can ride around in, but it appears that the mobile version’s will have guns attached for some sweet battle action on the water. Of course, there’s also the giant ship that seems to be taking fire from helicopters that presumably have players inside. Check out the mobile PUBG trailer for yourself below:

If the portable port actually has on-the-water and in-the-air combat, it could potentially beat out the original version in terms of content. Unfortunately, there’s no word as to whether or not the PC and console versions will receive such awesome things, but one can dream. Until then, we’ll keep on waiting for vaulting to make it out of the test server.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently available through Steam Early Access and is expected to officially arrive later this month on PC. An Xbox release is currently set for December 12, while the mobile version coming to China doesn’t have a release date yet.
