NetherRealm Reveals Incoming Injustice 2 DLC Announcement Date
Earlier this week, NetherRealm Studios head Ed Boon put out a series of tweets teasing the next batch of content for their upcoming game Injustice 2. The posts, ranging from serious to humorous, hinted at a closely approaching window where gamers would find out the contents of the game’s first DLC. Now, it seems we can expect that Injustice 2 DLC announcement sooner rather than later, according to another Tweet by Boon himself.

The announcement, while not too revealing on the surface, comprises of several letters and numbers separated by periods. What can be assumed from the vaguely cryptic message is that it reads “Injustice 2 / DLC / May / 5 / 2017 / 8AM / Central Daylight Time” which points to an Injustice 2 DLC announcement tomorrow starting at 8AM CDT. This information is in line with the recent teases about the comic book brawler. Also of note, the demolished setting within photo looks like the same darkly lit room seen in the game’s original announcement trailer. In it, several DC superheroes laid out a few instances of brutality on each other. Can’t we all just get along, guys?
Injustice 2 is almost upon us! There’s less than two weeks until the greatly-anticipated fighting game makes its launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this May 16th. If NetherRealm follows its increasingly big announcement pattern, we can expect tomorrow’s Injustice 2 DLC announcement to be a doozy.
