Splatoon 2 Beta is Live – Here’s Exactly When the Beta Periods Will Take Place
The first Splatoon was a huge hit on Nintendo’s previous console, the Wii-U. The run and gun colourful shooter provided a unique experience to play solo or with friends. The release of the sequel, aptly named Splatoon 2, is set for a summer release but you can get your hands on this title a little early in beta form.
The app needed for the beta is available at this moment on the Nintendo Switch console on their eShop. The beta hasn’t started yet, so when you go to click on the downloaded game, a message will pop up letting players know the game is not yet available.
Here are the details for the Splatoon 2 beta:
- March 24th:
- 12-12:59 pm PT
- 8-8:59 pm PT
- March 25th:
- 4:4:59 pm PT
- 12-22:59 pm PT
- 8-8:59 pm PT
- March 26th:
- 4-4:59 am PT
Splatoon 2 is aiming for a Summer release, though a specific date has yet to be confirmed. Joy-con and Pro controllers will both be usable for this title, as well – so whatever your preference is, you’re set. Splatoon 2 is definitely an anticipated title for the newly released Nintendo Switch.
