Xbox One X Start-Up Screen Will “Possibly” Be Unique

Xbox One X Start-Up Screen

Start-up screens are an important part of gaming consoles and will always be integral when identifying which system was just booted up. After all, finding out that the volume on a television is too loud when it screams “SEGA” is practically a pastime. Speaking of which, due to a recent Twitter exchange, we now know that the Xbox One X start-up screen very well might set itself apart from previous Microsoft consoles.

The original Xbox had an interesting boot screen that showed the animation of a sci-fi gelatinous orb, while the 360, One, and each of their variations had some form of a sphere and the same sound effect. Recently, lead marketer of Xbox consoles Albert Penello took to Twitter to answer one fan’s question about the Xbox One X start-up screen. Check it out below:

While a “possibly” isn’t concrete confirmation, it certainly provides a bit of a hint towards it being a reality. With the Xbox One X set to be the “world’s most powerful console”, it only makes sense that Microsoft would want to show that power off right from the beginning. If one Twitter user is as correct as Penello sarcastically suggests they are, we just might get Phil Spencer riding a scorpion while harnessing the power of lightning to create the Xbox symbol.

Master Chief is already riding a scorpion within the upcoming console, so why couldn’t the Xboss himself do the same? In any case, the release of the Xbox One X is set for November 7, which means we have less than three weeks until we know what start-up screen will grace our televisions.
