New WWE 2K19 Trailer Is As Weird As It Gets, Plus ‘Big Head Mode’ (VIDEO)
WWE 2K19 is nearly upon us featuring the debut of hot new additions to the roster like Velveteen Dream, Adam Cole, Ronda Rousey while other familiar superstars like Rey Mysterio, Ted DiBiase, and Rowdy Roddy Piper make their first appearence since 2K developed a new engine for these games.
While this roster reveals have been a lot of fun to predict and the live streams have been pretty entertaining, it’s about time we saw some gameplay! Only it doesn’t seem like that’s the only thing 2K shows us here. Check it out:
So yeah there’s a lot to unpack there. First off, this is by far the zaniest wrestling video game trailer we’ve have seen in quite a while. Most of these in the past have been like “Oh, here’s Stone Cold in High-Def doing a stunner” or other predictable stuff we’ve seen before in lower resolutions.
While there’s a bit of that in this, we also get Bray Wyatt at what looks like the House of Horrors Compound about to put someone into the dirt. Not only that but get a Zombie King-looking Triple H wielding a sledgehammer in another outdoor environment. The trailer cuts back to show updated entrances, pre-order characters, and the PPV stages from this year.
We also get a little bit of a look at Daniel Bryan and Triple H during their match at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014, the new Women’s Royal Rumble match, Ric Flair putting the figure four on Tatanka, and even a BIG HEAD MODE?
This is definitely a lot to take in so we’ll just have to see what the finished product looks like when WWE 2K19 launches on October 5th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
