Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood Revealed In Epic New Trailer (VIDEO)
Woof Woof baby. Beloved tabletop RPG game Werewolf: The Apocalypse is getting a new video game for the first time in over 20 years. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood has been revealed as the newest game adaption for the franchise. The Werewolf lore is shared with the Vampire: The Masquerade games, making this new Werewolf title particularly interesting given the impending release of Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. As part of Paradox Con 2019, we were treated to a special reveal trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. Check it out below!
Much like Vampire: The Masquerade’s Vampire clans, Werewolves are organized in a tribal system. Werewolf’s character Cahal is exiled from his tribe but must save them after a vampire corporation is destroying the forest around his Caern. Caerns are sacred places where Werewolf clans meet to contact the spirit realm. So, it’s safe to say Cahal is going to go to great lengths to protect this holy site. Players will be able to shapeshift between Werewolf, Human, and Wolf forms to traverse various terrain and for combat encounters. The story will have branching paths with players having the option of managing their Werewolf rage, or giving into their ravenous nature.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is set to release in Q2/Q3 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
