Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Animated Film is Finally Coming – First Look
A little over a decade ago, Warner Bros. announced the film adaption of the Teen Titans story arc by George Perez and Marv Wolfman. The movie will have a few changes from the original story, but it still looks great. Thanks to a picture shown on Hollywood Reporter, we can see that the film will include Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, Starfire, Nightwing, and Terra, but no Raven has been shown yet. One of the changes mentioned though, is that Cyborg won’t be in the movie since he has been promoted to a Justice League member in the DC animated movie world.
In Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, Terra betrays the group and joins forces with the assassin Deathstroke in order to take down the Titans. This storyline is one of the most famous, but it’s been a battle to get a movie adaption made. DC had announced the Teen Titan movie in 2006, but ended up putting it aside in 2008, because there was a “lack of interest” in the Titans. Luckily they brought it back up to the plate for 2017 and it’s officially going to be made. It will be Directed by Sam Liu from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker. Christina Ricca will voice Terra and it was reported the recently deceased, Miguel Ferrer was supposed to be Deathstroke.
