Studio Behind Zelda Remakes In Search Of Unreal Engine 4 Programmers

The developer behind great IPs such as Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana, and the Legend of Zelda remakes (Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D) are in search of Unreal Engine 4 programmers for a secret new project. Grezzo is a Japanese game studio and developer known for their involvements with the aforementioned franchises and it’s looking like they’re seeking after talent to create a new legend. The question is, what exactly? Though they’ve created their own intellectual property like Ever Oasis, the purposeful use of “legend” has cogs turning.

According to their official website, they’re recruiting for what seems like a sequel, which is indicated by a “2” in the description of the project. Based on a similar announcement in 2014 where Nintendo shortly announced Majora’s Mask 3D after, it could be related to said company. It would be just as practical to consider that a Legend of Mana sequel or remake is in production seeing as it wasn’t long ago that a Secret of Mana 3D was announced for a release in upcoming 2018 (PS Vita, PS4).

It’s unlikely that Grezzo is on on-boarding more staff for a game already in the process of release for next year. What do you think of the possibilities of this project being another of their Zelda remakes? There’s also the possibility that none of the IPs mentioned here are anywhere near the ballpark.
