Stranger Things Portals Begin Popping Up In Fortnite (VIDEO)
Fortnite has become a household name over the past year and a half, skyrocketing into the clouds of success. The popular battle royale title has done this not only by being a fun experience for players, but also through a mountain of content, a lot of which has been crossovers with other properties in pop culture. One of the latest mash ups has been with the wildly popular Netflix series Stranger Things.
It first started with the arrival of the current season, which transformed the map in many ways. One such way was by adding new building and shops, one of which was Scoops Ahoy, an ice cream shop featured in Stranger Things. While many may have just blown this off as a simple reference to the show, it looks like the two are truly beginning to collide as new portals to the Upside Down have begun to appear in the game. Check them out for yourself below:

The Stranger Things portals appear to have popped up in Mega Mall, and allow players to transport around the location with ease. It is currently unknown if Epic has anything else planned for this crossover with Fortnite, but we are sure to learn more very soon as season 3 of Stranger Things is set to hit Netflix on Thursday, July 4th.
