Spider-Man Game Footage (VIDEO)

PlayStation’s Paris Games Week event has been ablaze with hot news all morning long. So far, we’ve seen the likes of The Last of Us: Part 2, Detroit: Become Human, and Shadow Of The Colossus Remastered take a bow in their well-deserved spotlight. Among the reveals, Insomniac Games has debuted a brand new look at their Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4, and the footage not only showcases some expectedly spectacular action, but features an extended number of familiar Spidey characters.

The trailer is packed with numerous character cameos and gorgeous super-powered battles. Peter Parker’s allies Mary Jane, Miles Morales, and Aunt May can be seen, as is Martin Li and his villainous alter ego Mister Negative. More of the web-head’s rogues gallery are also present in various capacities, with Kingpin getting arrested, Norman Osborn running for mayor, and an electric confrontation with the Shocker. Check out the Spider-Man game trailer below.

There seems to be a lot going on in Spider-Man: Peter is seen dealing with his superhero secret, Mister Negative is tearing through New York, and Mary Jane is conducting her own criminal investigation. The inclusion of Miles Morales in the mix only begs the question of if he’ll eventually suit up as Spidey as well. One thing is for sure, Insomniac seems to have a very interesting Spider-Man game on their hands.

What do you think? Does this trailer only cement your anticipation for Spider-Man, or do need more gameplay to make a decision?
