Free September 2017 PlayStation Plus Titles Revealed – Infamous Second Son, Hatoful Boyfriend, and More!
A new month is upon us, which means it is time to take advantage of those online console gaming memberships and stock up on some free titles. The September 2017 PlayStation Plus lineup is packed with fun adventures for any gamer to enjoy. While there is a myriad of new games hitting the market this month, it’s the perfect time to revisit some oldies that are relatively goldies. Hitting the big three formats – PS4, PS3, and Vita – the six(ish) titles up for grabs range anywhere from aerial combat to being the only human inside a school of birds.
First up, the PS4 sees one of its own exclusive titles released for free in Infamous: Second Son. The third installment in Sucker Punch Productions’ franchise sees Delsin Rowe as the new Conduit in town. Using his hardcore parkour skills and electrifying abilities, players must choose between good and evil to take down the wicked Brooke Augustine. Next in line for PS4 owners, Strike Vector Ex will allow players to engage in sweet aerial combat while performing some tasty maneuvers. Fly around in mech-like suits to do battle with the enemy in this quick-paced shooter.
Available in the September 2017 PlayStation Plus group of games on the PS3 will be sports title Handball 2016. Developed by EKO Software, the game is the first of its kind in that it takes players deep into the world of competitive handball. Also heading to the PlayStation 3 is Truck Racer, the high-octane racing game that leaves it all out on the track with some big rig action.
For all of you Vita users out there, prepare to enjoy life in the fast lane. By that, we mean it’s time to live among the birds in Hatoful Boyfriend. In the visual novel/pigeon dating sim, players will take on the role of the only human inside of St. PigeoNation’s Institute, a bird-only school. Next up, blast your way though waves of enemies in We Are Doomed, a twin-stick shooter that pits players against psychedelic polygons of destruction. Both of these titles are also available via PS4 Cross-Buy.
Each of these titles will be available to download beginning September 5. A few extra perks will be joining these games in the PS Plus lineup. For PSVR users, Rigs will be free until November 7. Those gaming on the PS4 with a Plus membership will be able to enjoy a free weekend of Dead by Daylight from September 15-18. If you’re looking to purchase the game, it will be on sale with a 30% discount until September 22. On top of all of this, a free Neverwinter pack will be up for grabs from September 16 through October 16.
The free August PS Plus titles will still be available until the 5th, so be sure to grab those if you haven’t already.
