Satisfactory Debuts Gameplay At PC Gaming Show E3 2018 (VIDEO)
Many of you may remember the teaser trailer we received from Coffee Stain Studios earlier this year. It featured an adorable little creature from their upcoming title, Satisfactory. Now that Simon Begby seems to have stopped delaying everything, we finally have our first look at what Satisfactory is all about. (Simon will always delay everything)
During the PC Gaming Show at E3 2018, Coffee Stain, who is also responsible for the downright fun Goat Simulator, debuted the first gameplay footage of the upcoming title. We’re not exactly sure if it’s what anyone was expecting, but it was certainly a thing, and that makes us happy. Okay, it’s actually an FPS factory building simulator. Check it out for yourself below:
For those wanting to know a bit more, here’s a short description from Coffee Stain:
Satisfactory is an FPS open-world factory building sim. You play as an engineer on an alien planet as part of the ‘Save The Day’ program – a program whose goal is to construct a massive machine for a mysterious purpose. Conquer nature, build multi-story factories, and automate to satisfaction!”
The game will feature co-op play, in which players will get the opportunity to team up, destroy every environment they set foot on, and then construct structures out of the corpses of said environment’s inhabitants, both sentient and not. Well, we don’t actually know if you can take down the local creatures and then make things out of them. Either way, sounds like an absolute blast!
Still no release date for Satisfactory, but we’ll go ahead and blame Simon for that one. We’re excited to see where exactly Coffee Stain is taking us on this journey, so remain tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as our eyes keep a close watch on Satisfactory.
