Red Dead Redemption 2 Announcement Teased by Rockstar Games

Red Dead Redemption 2 Announcement

There was once a time when Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 was meant to be coming out by the end of this year. Unfortunately, the publisher changed their tune some months ago and delayed the game until Spring 2018. While their stock took a hit from this move, fans are now becoming even more excited for the sequel as its release date approaches. In a recent tweet by Rockstar, a Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement was teased, which could very well mean the new launch date could be made known soon.

In the tweet that is obviously Red Dead-themed, it simply states “Thursday, September 28, 11AM ET”. Along with this is their website, indicating that it is there where the announcement will take place. Many could theorize that this is when the developer will reveal the new release date. It also might be a chance for them to announce a PC launch for the title if they are working on such a thing. Check out the tweet below:

Announcing a launch for PC would be absolutely huge for fans everywhere. The first game never saw that jump from console to PC, but with as large as the market has become for gaming on that platform, it might be wise to consider that option. After all, Rockstar’s own Grand Theft Auto Online has brought in insane amounts of money on PC, and Red Dead Redemption 2 would likely be no different.

Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff even acknowledged the impressive market that exists on PC, stating it’s one that “as a company is very important and very exciting and something we focus on.” Will the Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement reveal both the release date and a PC launch?
