Prepare your Wallets: ‘Ren & Stimpy’ and ‘Lost’ Funko Pop! Vinyls

If you’re a fan of the trippy sci-fi series Lost or the nostalgic animated series Ren & Stimpy, Funko has a treat for you in the form of Pop! vinyl figures featuring several of the two shows’ characters.

Let’s face it. Lost was a hugely popular show when it first premiered over 12 years ago. The show’s intricate (and sometimes nonsensical) mythology created a diehard fanbase willing to tune in each and every week. Sure, the show’s polarizing ending may have turned some people off, but it doesn’t seem to have swayed Funko.

Included in the first wave of Pop! figures are the popular characters:

I am slightly peeved that the none of the figure numbers aren’t 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 or 42. Considering how many interesting characters Lost had in it’s 6-season run, surely we can expect more survivors to show up to fix this injustice. I suppose we would also have to call the next wave of vinyls “The Others”.

Funko also announced that the title characters from Ren & Stimpy are also getting Pop! vinyl likenesses. The beloved 90s cartoon was one of the first animated programs to air on Nickelodeon and it still holds a special place in people’s hearts because of it. Both Ren and Stimpy will be available in normal and in rare “dalmatian disguise” chase variants.

Both Pop! Vinyl sets will be available in February 2017.
