PlayStation And Nike Team Up Again For Even More Console-Inspired Sneakers

PlayStation

Fans may remember the Paul George Nike kicks that were released earlier this year. You know, the ones that were inspired by PlayStation? Well, it looks like the trio are teaming up once more to deliver additional console-inspired sneakers to gamers and athletes alike.

Set to arrive next month, the PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorway will be the new set of kicks in the Paul George series. “For those who know me, gaming is a big part of who I am – I love the fans and I love this community, so it was amazing to see the gaming and sneaker worlds collide with the original PG2 collaboration,” George said in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The inspiration for the newest pair of shoes, as George states, is the original Sony console. Some of his favorite aspects of the new sneakers include:

  • The tongues of the shoe still have the PG and PlayStation logos that light up and pulsate blue, but this time we added the original four-color PlayStation logo that lights up on the other side of the tongue.
  • The strap across the top front of each shoe provides stability to really lock you in.
  • The iconic PlayStation symbols are embossed in patent leather on each shoe, just like on the original PG2 x PlayStation colorway.

The PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway is set to drop on December 1st, but no price is known at this time. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
