PlayStation Announces Inside Xbox, Nintendo Direct-Like Livestream

PlayStation State of Play

In what may be a move that is a surprise to probably no one, Sony has officially announced their own livestream that will focus on all things PlayStation. Much akin to the likes of Inside Xbox and Nintendo Direct, the State of Play livestream will not be a one-time thing, but the first of its kind arrives in just a few days.

Announced by Sony’s Sid Shuman on the PlayStation blog, State of Play will center around the announcements of new PlayStation 4 games, PlayStation VR software and all of the glorious news that fans of team blue could hope for. Of course, this all comes after they decided to opt out of a showcase at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Many fans seem to be on board with the idea, as it will provide them with more PlayStation news throughout the year. However, this did not stop anyone from making all of the memes that point out the elephant in the room. Check out some of the hilarious reactions below:

The memes and jokes are all in good fun, of course, but at least we might be getting a bit more PlayStation news these days, especially since they won’t be at E3 in June. Either way, keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
