Leaked Images Point to Physical Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Release Happening Soon
Gamers may remember when when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered dropped last year. It was available as part of special editions of Infinite Warfare, which was released in November of last year. Naturally, this didn’t go over as well as Activision had hoped – not everyone was thrilled about the futuristic aspect of the new title that they would have to purchase in order to receive the upgraded game. Well, if recent leaks are to be believed, a physical Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is releasing any day now. In fact, some even say that day is today.
A tipster on Charlie Intel has provided some rather convincing photos that point to a physical Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release that is happening soon. The images also show the game as a PlayStation 4 title, which makes sense because of Activision’s timed exclusivity deal with Sony. According to this person who is dabbling in video game espionage, their store’s internal computers show a Tuesday, June 27 release date. This is a bit later than previous claims that a June 20 launch is expected. However, an even more recent update provided to Charlie Intel also shows June 20. Well, it’s either happening today or next week, but one thing is for sure: It definitely seems to be real.
One thing that everybody appears to be certain on, however, is that the physical Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release is going to cost players $40. That, of course, will likely remain up for debate as to whether or not it’s fair, but it is what it is. On the other hand, this could all be fake. While it isn’t likely, it’s always a possibility on today’s Internet. To remain updated on this story and more, stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers.
