Pathfinder: Kingmaker Release Date Revealed With New Trailer (VIDEO)

Pathfinder: Kingmaker

Deep Silver recently posted a video to their YouTube page that shows off the upcoming RPG Pathfinder: Kingmaker. However, at the end of the trailer, fans were treated to a long-awaited piece of information: the release date.

Set to arrive this Fall, the Pathfinder: Kingmaker team, headed by Owlcat Games’ Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas), achieved quite the successful Kickstarter campaign to get them to this point. However, the release date trailer wasn’t the only video to arrive recently, as they also showed a pretty neat feature trailer. Both of these can be found below:

For those not sure what Pathfinder: Kingmaker is all about, here’s more about the RPG:

“To the north lie the Stolen Lands, a region that has been contested territory for centuries. Hundreds of kingdoms have risen and fallen in these lands, and now it is time for you to make your mark—by building your own kingdom! To do so, you’ll need to survive the harsh wilderness and the threat of rival nations… as well as threats within your own court.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is based on Paizo’s award-winning Pathfinder Adventure Path of the same name. You certainly don’t need to be familiar with the story, but if you are, you will encounter characters you know and love as well as a host of brand-new events, companions, allies, and threats that expand and enhance the original Adventure Path. With help from Paizo and their authors, the story and quests have been expanded by RPG writer Chris Avellone and the Owlcat team, allowing for even more adventure in the already rich narrative of the Stolen Lands.”

The upcoming RPG will also have a few variations for fans to choose from. The Basic Explored Edition comes in at $39.99 and includes just the game. Next, the Noble Edition will run players $54.99, but it will include a “Premium downloadable copy of the game,” two portraits, digital art book, and the official soundtrack.

For $69.99 (Royal Edition) fans will get everything from the Noble Edition as well as a digital module for board game adventures, a digital high-resolution map of the Stolen Lands, and a red panda. After that, those willing to spend $84.99 on the Imperial Edition will receive everything listed above, plus the season pass.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is set to arrive for PC on September 25th, and fans can pre-order the game over on Steam. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we learn more about the upcoming RPG, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
