Kingdom Come Deliverance Launch Trailer Reveals A Broader Story (VIDEO)
Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have been hard at work building their wildly successful Kickstarter title set in the 15th century. With the game just moments from release, a new Kingdom Come Deliverance launch trailer has come out that peels back another layer of an already epic tale. This multifaceted medieval RPG has a lot to offer and they’ve held nothing back in the video below.
Fans get a peek into the life of Henry, the son of a Blacksmith in Bohemia, who goes from wild young upstart to vengeful military man. His journey reveals many aspects of the game, while we are treated to a church ritual without context. In contrast to the swearing in of Henry as a monk, we see him engaging in gambling, drinking, sex and heated battle. Take a look at the Kingdom Come Deliverance launch trailer to see all of Henry’s exploits:
The Kingdom Come Deliverance launch trailer features many aspects of the game. Elements of role-playing, combat, gambling quests, and all manners in between serve to make the title even more interesting. Of considerable note is the game’s combat system, which Deep Silver has been hard at work on to perfect realistic detail in play:
Experience our unique combat system which is new and exclusive to the gaming market. We present real historical European sword-fighting. We have been working with experienced swordfighters, who helped us with the animations in our MoCap Studio. Together we have decoded the medieval sword-fighting techniques that can be mastered in-game.”
Overall, the Kingdom Come Deliverance launch trailer, and everything we’ve seen before it, promises varied styles of play and enthralling NPCs that remember your actions (with subsequent reactions). The game is set to release February 13th with a considerably large patch coming in at about 23 GB that the Devs took some time to explain. Players can get their hands on a copy for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
