Psychological Horror VR Title The Inpatient Delayed Until Next Year
During this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Supermassive Games brought three titles along with them to show off to those in attendance and watching at home. Hidden Agenda, The Inpatient, and Bravo Team were all announced. The first being a PlayStation 4 offering and the other two set to be PS VR games. While all three were expected to arrive this year, it would appear that only one of them has remained on-schedule.
Hidden Agenda arrived last month in the US, but it will now be coming to Europe and hitting the international market on November 22. What might have been their best announcement, The Inpatient has now been delayed until January 23, 2018 after originally being set to launch on November 21. The psychological horror VR title is meant to be a prequel to the studio’s Until Dawn, allowing players to traverse the haunting Blackwood Sanatorium in the 1950s as someone searching for the meaning behind their institutionalization. Their other PS VR title, Bravo Team, will be skipping their original December 5 release date, and will instead be arriving on March 6, 2018. Check out Supermassive’s full statement below:
