Hideo Kojima Receives Cyberpunk 2077 Treatment From The Developers

Cyberpunk 2077 Hideo Kojima Death Stranding PC

Well, that settles that. I now need to see Hideo Kojima hanging out in Night City when Cyberpunk 2077 arrives later this year. This is because CD Projekt RED has released an image showing the director in a style not unlike that of the upcoming futuristic RPG, and it looks like he would be perfect for the game.

To celebrate the launch of Death Stranding on PC, which just arrived on July 14th, CD Projekt RED took to Twitter to give director Hideo Kojima the Cyberpunk 2077 treatment. The first photo in the tweet was taken at a previous event, which shows Kojima straddling a seemingly Akira-inspired motorcycle. The second image, however, is done in the style of previous characters that were highlighted by the developers, showing off the director with an outfit fit for Night City and also atop that beautiful red bike.

Of course, it is unknown if the Death Stranding director will actually be in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. After all, we know that Keanu Reeves is in the title, and following the recent Night City Wire presentation, it was revealed that the likes of popular content creators CohhCarnage and Jesse Cox are also part of the experience. Needless to say, Hideo Kojima being included isn’t exactly as far-fetched as it may seem.

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is currently available on PC and PlayStation 4, while Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on November 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
