Halo: Reach PC Update Discusses Crossplay, Spec Requirements
As you may have heard, 343 Industries previously announced Halo: The Master Chief Collection, including Halo: Reach, for PC. Though we still don’t have an official release date on the PC version, the good people at 343 Industries will sate your hunger for information with a progress report and talk of cross-platform capabilities.
It’s great news that PC gamers will be able to crossplay Halo: Reach. However, it should be noted that PC and Xbox users will not be able to face off in epic multiplayer battles on Reach. Both the Steam and Windows 10 versions will work for cross-play. Here’s a diagram with minimum spec requirements to run the game. The games are still on the older side, and as such most PCs should run it just fine.
Despite the lack of information regarding the PC version’s release date, we do have a schedule of multiplayer games coming up for those playing on Xbox. Here’s the breakdown below:
November 2, 10:00 AM PT – 1:00 PM PT & 5:00 PM PT – 9:00 PM PT
- Social: 4v4
- Competitive: Team Hardcore
- Firefight: Arcade
November 3, 10:00 AM PT – 1:00 PM PT & 5:00 PM PT – 9:00 PM PT
- Social: 8v8
- Competitive: Team Hardcore
- Firefight: Heroic
November 4, 10:00 AM PT – 1:00 PM PT & 5:00 PM PT – 9:00 PM PT
- Social: 4v4
- Competitive: Team Hardcore
- Firefight: Arcade
November 5, 10:00 AM PT – 1:00 PM PT
- Social: 8v8
- Competitive: Team Hardcore
- Firefight: Heroic
