Ghost Of Tsushima Release Date Revealed Alongside New Story Trailer (VIDEO)
It looks like the official release date for Ghost of Tsushima is right around the corner! Late last year, it was confirmed that the PS4 exclusive was set to launch in Summer 2020. Now, developer Sucker Punch has announced the release date for Ghost of Tsushima alongside an epic new story trailer.
Sucker Punch has released a new story trailer for Ghost of Tsushima that confirms that the release date for the title is June 26th, 2020. This puts the release date a short month past the most recent date set for Naughty Dog’s PS4 exclusive The Last of Us Part 2, so PlayStation gamers will need to set aside some time this summer to get through both games. Check out the new story trailer for Ghost of Tsushima below:
As one has come to expect, the Ghost of Tsushima story trailer above features even more of the gorgeous visuals we’ve seen from the game thus far, this time mixed in with some flashbacks of protagonist Jin Sakai’s time as a child. The trailer then fast forwards to a point where the invading army puts everything he believes in to the test, with other characters stating that he has become more than just a samurai. “With Tsushima on the brink of destruction, Jin Sakai must sacrifice everything to defeat the ruthless Mongol invaders and protect what’s left of his home and people,” the trailer’s description reads. “As he embarks on an epic adventure for the freedom of Tsushima, he is forced to set aside samurai traditions and become a new kind of warrior.”
Ghost of Tsushima releases exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on June 26th, 2020.
