Final Fantasy IX BRING ARTS Figures Announced For Zidane And Garnet

While the folks over at Square Enix are working hard to get us new Final Fantasy VII Remake news, the Japanese publisher has in the meantime announced new BRING ARTS collectible action figures for Zidane Tribal and Garnet Til Alexandros 17th, the two main protagonists from fan favorite RPG Final Fantasy IX.

Revealed over on the Square Enix Store website, the two figures fittingly come as a set and are accompanied with loads of accessories for both figures. “We are pleased to present a brand new BRING ARTS figure set from FINAL FANTASY IX – this set contains Zidane, a member of a band of traveling thieves, the Tantalus Theater Troupe, and Princess Garnet of the Kingdom of Alexandria,” the website reads. “Our designers have recreated the fantastic feeling of the in-game characters, from their signature stylized form to the meticulous paintwork that incorporates subtle shading and polish. With a presence that feels as if though they jumped right out of the game and a robust set of accessories, this set of action figures brings the world of the game to the collector, which they can enjoy to their heart’s content.”

Here’s what comes with the Final Fantasy IX BRING ARTS figure set, followed by their sizes:

  • Zidane comes with three (3) weapons: Daggers, Mage Mashers, and Ultima Weapon, two (2) interchangeable face parts, and eight (8) hands.
  • Garnet comes with two (2) weapons: Healing Rod and Tiger Racket, one (1) interchangeable face part, two (2) long-hair pieces, three (3) short-hair pieces, and five (5) hands.
  • Figure Size (inches): Zidane: W 2.13″ x D 1.26″ x H 4.59″ Garnet: W 1.76″ x D 1.63″ x H 4.39”

The action figure set is now available for pre-order for $161.99, with an expected ship date of September 2019. Those looking to pre-order can do so right here.
