Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Announces Lo-fi Collab With Chillhop

The folks over at Square Enix have been on quite the music kick as of late, consistently releasing various types of Final Fantasy music and original soundtracks on Spotify and other online streaming services. Recently, the Japanese publisher delved into the world of lo-fi with a set of Chill Out Arrangement Tracks that pay homage to some of the older Final Fantasy games. Now, a new lo-fi collaboration has been announced between the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Universe and Chillhop Music.

Square Enix recently took to Twitter to announce the collaboration between the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Universe and Chillhop Music. The FFBE Universe is comprised of two mobile games: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and as such, the 25-track collaboration will pull source material from both games.

“In this collaboration with Chillhop, players can enjoy original animations along with 25 tracks from FFBE and WOTV FFBE arranged in lo-fi hip hop style by popular lo-fi artists,” the in-game messages read. “Listen to familiar tracks from battles and the main story remixed with chill beats and retro vibes.” To kick off the new collaboration, a one-hour live set will be streamed on Chillhop’s official site as well as its YouTube channel at 09:00 PDT on March 25th, 2021.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and War of the Visions FFBE are both free to play on Android & iOS.
