Dualshock 4 Controllers Getting 2 New Color Schemes This Spring
Custom controllers are great – they show off your favorite game in style, in addition to being a utilitarian novelty item for gamers! Depending on the brand or the style, they can be pretty flashy and perhaps best used for special occasion. Despite there already being 9 official colors, two new colors for the Dualshock 4 controllers are joining the permanent line-up this March.
Welcoming Steel Black and Midnight Blue to the family, these more palatable schemes are much more akin for the everyday person. The placement of black color-blocking segments such as the tips of the handles and the center touch pad makes for a great daily controller.
These Dualshock 4 controllers will be joining the ranks of the iconic jet black as well as crystal, red crystal, blue crystal, gold, silver, green camouflage, magma red, and wave blue. However, since they’re so new, they will be sold at $64.99 (USD), whereas some of the other color schemes can be found at independent retailers for a more reasonable price. Take a look at the new styles in the gallery above.
